Get ready for picture overload! Ellery turned five and I threw her the fanciest Fancy Nancy party I could come up with.
Me and my girl before the festivities began. She was so excited all day!
Savannah, Avery, Ashlyn, Ellery, Maddie, Camryn, Layla
The table was of course the most fancy part of the party- it was, after all, where the real tea party was taking place. My sweet mom let me borrow her real, English, collectable cups and saucers for the tea party. She was sweet to let them go into the hands of five year olds, but I told them how fancy and fragile they were and the girls were super careful with them.
For games we played Musical Jewels (like musical chairs) and Lady, Lady Where's Your Jewel? Funny thing about games at birthday parties- they go super fast. I was worried we would run out of things to do.
But we still had the Boa Limbo, and of course they had to learn how to sit fancy, and walk like a fancy model. This was serious stuff, in preparation for the big fashion show.
They got to go to our dress up store and put together any outfit they wanted. Some of these girls really knew how to accessorize! Some were a little shy coming down the blue carpet, but I think all of them had fun. What five year old girl doesn't like dressing up? What two year old girl doesn't like dressing up? Layla was probably more into it than any of them!

After the show, we danced to Taylor Swift and Call Me Maybe for awhile, and then it was time for tea.
Next up, photos of the beautiful, fancy girls!
I think it was a success and my fancy little five year old sure was happy about it! I sure love her!
