a bike ride

We've been talking about it forever, but we finally went on a family bike ride.  After picking out a hot pink helmet for Elle, and passing down orange Dora to Layla, we finally had all the tools we needed to go.  

It was a lot of work getting all our bikes into the car, but after we were all situated it was so much fun.  We rode on the Fanno Creek trail for a few miles, along the river and through backyards and past playgrounds.  It was gorgeous and we all loved it.  Well, except maybe Layla.  She tolerated the helmet and being strapped into the trailer.  I can't wait for Ellery to join in on the riding!
